Visitation: Friday December 9, 20111:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.in the Chapel of the Stinson Funeral Home 1939 S. Fort Detroit, Michigan
Funeral Services: Saturday, December 10, 2011 10:30 Family Hour-11:00 Funeral at First Baptist Church of Ecorse in the City of Ecorse.

Interment: Meadowcrest Cemetery

Mrs. Alberta Hardt waas born February 22, 1918 to the late Chester and Hattie Mitchell in Quitman County, Mississippi.

Alberta confessed her love and belief in Christ at an arl age. Mrs. Alberta Hardy was educaated through the Mississippi School System.

Alberta married Jarrett Hardy in 1938 and later moved to Detroit, Michigan in 164 where she worked as a homemaker.

Alberta wasa loving and happy person who opened her heart and home up to anyone who needed a place to stay. Alberta enjoyed cooking and making people happy in any way she could lend a helping hand. Alberta was always a pleasant person to be around, with her soft spoken voice.

Alberta accepted her soul winged flight from this world of sin, sorrow and pain to a place of rest on November 30, 2011 while being hospitalized at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan. Alberta suffered a battle with diabetes and congestive heart failure.

Preceeding her in death are, her husband Jarrerett Hardy, a special son Eugene Smith, four brothers; Charlie, Chester, Jr, Otis and Henry, three sisters; Marie, Flora and Zenobia Mitchell.

She leaves to cherish her memory; two sisters, Hettie L. Hill and Tresie Mitchell, one sister-in-law ennie B Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and a friend Mrs. Dean.
