Visitation: Wednesday May 28, 2014 1-8pm in the chapel of Stinson Funeral Home 16540 Meyers at the John Lodge Fwy
Family Hour Thursday May 29, 2014 10:30 am, Funeral at 11:00 a.m. also in the chapel of Stinson Funeral Home.
Interment: Gethsemane Cemetery
Arthur was born on May 5,1949 to the late George and Louie France. He was the 11th Child to this reunion. He was proceed in death by 6 siblings, Sarah Johnson, Janice Turk, William Hamilton France, Ronald Winfred France, Dexter France and Kenneth Todd France.
He was united in holy Matrimony with his loving wife Rita Dickens in September of 2000 whom he leaves to cherish his memory.
Arthur loved to sing and record a gospel CD with the New Way Gospel Group. He loved to play games on his computer and spend time with his family.
He worked at Detroit Recue Mission Ministries as a security guard until his illness stopped him from working.
He was united with the Sweet Rocked Baptist church at a early age under the fellowship of Reverend R.L. Braswell.
Arthur departed from life on May 12,2014. He also leaves to cherish his memory 7 children, Fredia Ann Briggs, Felicia Lowman (Richard), Arthur Alonzo France, Sidney France, Jonathan France and Lathea McGee. 6 sisters Georgia Richards (Donald), Mildren Braswell (Solomon), Sandra Clay (Louis), Theresa Mosley (Nathaniel), Alice Rhodes (Willie), and Theaster Manciel. Brother Charles France (Maxine). Ahost of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grands.
