Bobbie Jean Stewart was born on February 9, 1932, to her proud parents. Herbert Lee and Anna Lee Thompson Harrison, the eldest preceded her in death.
At an early age, Bobbie began her walk with the Lord by attending First Baptist Church of Downtown Detroit with grandparents, Watt and Gena Thompson. She was baptized and became a devout servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Bobbie began her educated in the Ecorse Public Schools were she graduated from Ecorse High School. She continued her education in Nursing at Home Phillips College in St. Louis, MO , and Wayne State University in Detroit, MI Bobbie held many positions throughout her life with the University of Detroit, J.L. Hudson, Wayne County Press Cad and Ecorse Public Schools.
On January 31, 1952, Bobbie Jean Thompson and John Earl Stewart of Detroit, Michigan, who preceded her in death, were united in holy matrimony. To this union one child was born, Marcia Jean Stewart.
While residing in Ecorse, Michigan, the Stewarts joined Church of the Ressurection under the leadership of Reverend Henry Parker, where they became active members. Bobbie was instrumental in soliciting funds for the beautification of the church's grounds. Bobbie throughly enjoyed reading novels, particularly suspense and romance. She was creative with her hands in hyper-cal, painting of apparel and decorating her home.
On Friday, October 19, 2012, Bobbie peacefully made her transition to Eternity while at William Beaumont Hospital of Royal Oak, Michigan.
Bobbie leaves to cherish her memories one daughter; Marcia, a wonderful son-in-law, Robert Renfroe, Jr., two nieces, Margaret Holt, Laura (James) Beamon, three nephews, Herbert Thompson, Andre Harrison, Leonard Harrison and a host of great nieces, nephews, and friends.
