Johnson, Mr. Bobby Joe - Age 76, passed away June 1, 2025, at his residence.  He was born on December 17, 1948, in Murfreesboro, Arkansas from the union of the late Booker T. and Aurelia (Hendrix) Johnson.  He grew up in a Christian home and received a Certificate of Baptism at an early age.  He later moved to Detroit, Michigan where he was employed for many years, retiring from Total Linen Services/Vanguard Health and remained a resident until he transitioned.  He leaves to mourn: daughters, Tamika Harden (Terry) of Flint, MI and Amber (James) Offutt of Dearborn Heights, MI; grandsons, Deondrick LaMar McKay and Aiden James Offutt; a host of family and friends; the mothers of his daughters, Gloria (Harden) Smith and Judy Johnson; special friends from the Barbershop; Ms. Geraldine Y. (Gerri), Ms. Pam Murray, Mr. Sam Moore, Mr. Lawrence Riley (Flower Shop), and many others.

The family would like to extend a Special "Thank You" to the staff who cared for him at the Karmanos Cancer Institute; to Ms. Hasina Spraggins who informed us of his passing and has been very supportive by showing extreme kindness  & always willing to help during this difficult time; and to the family (Duane, Carolyn, & TaQuilla Hendrix) and friends who came out to support us at the Balloon Release Memorial in his honor on Father's Day.
