Cathy Denise Redwine Williams was born on October 03, 1959 in River Rouge Michigan to the late Emmett and Barbara Redwine. Cathy accepted Christ at an early age and was confirmed at Church of Resurrection in Ecorse, MI. Cathy attended Ecorse Public Schools and graduated in 1977. Due to her cool demeanor and sassy attitude, she was given the name "Catwoman."
Not long after high school, she started working at Ford Motor Company, where she met Donald "Paul" Williams. Cathy and Donald later married on November 2, 1979 and from this union three daughters were born; Shyla Karine, Regina Lynette, and Ashley Mishaun.
In 1982 she started her career at Detroit Edison (DTE Energy), where she faithfully worked for 33 years. Cathy loved to spend quality time with her daughters, family, friends, and puppy grandson Louie. Mrs. Williams also loved to cook for family and coworkers. Cathy was a loving, kind and generous person to everyone she met; she often opened up her home to family and friends in need. Cathy lived by the saying "treat people the way you want to be treated."
On October 29th, 2015, Cathy made her departure from this earthy dwelling to receive her wings. She leaves to honor and cherish her memory; her three daughters, Shyla, Regina and Ashley; her husband Donald "Paul"; her four siblings; Viron, Ava, Avie, and Barbara, one God-son Larry, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
