Curtis James Foster, Jr. was born November 26, 1955, a loving son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. Curtis was baptized at an early age and accepted Jesus Christ. When Curtis moved to Michigan he joined the Encouragement COGIC and sang with the Praise Team.
An avid history buff, Curtis loved to sing, watch classic movies and spend time with those he loved. He always had a good story to tell. We often joked with him, because of his quick wit and funny comebacks. He would talk with the younger members of the family about their future plans and encourage them all to keep reaching for the stars.
Curtis departed this life on Tuesday, September 1, 2015.
Curtis leaves to cherish his memory: his brother Jerome, five sisters: Diane (Lewis), Theresa, Marcia, Stacey and Melanie (Vincent).
Nieces and Nephews: Charise (Tramell), Deryl (Maria), Tyffannye, Brittany, Jayvohyn,Vincent Jr., Victoria, Julius, Jerome Jr., Shawna, five great-nieces and one great-nephew, cousins as well as a host of friends and extended family.
Thank you for the fun laughter, games, stories, food and jokes we shared. We have so many fund memories of you. We all loved and admired you dearly. We thank God for giving you to us, to enjoy in our family.
His body is gone from this life to suffer no more, but his spirit will forever live with all of us.
