Viewing Thursday Septmeber 20, 2012 from 1PM until 8PM at the Stinson Northwest Chapel located 16540 Meyers Rd. at the John Lodge Fwy. Funeral Services will be Friday in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11AM. Family Hour is 10AM. Interment: Gethsemane Cemetery

Dexter France wa born June 18, 2,1950 to the late George and Louie France in Detroit, Michigan. He was the 12th child born to this union along with a twin sister, Theaster. He was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Sarah Johnson, William Hamilton France, Janice Turk and Ronald France.

Dexter united with Sweet Rock Baptist church at a early age under the leadership of Reverend R.L. Braswell.

Dexter was employed with St. Joseph Hospital as an orderly until his health began to fail him.

Dexter loved to listen to music and watch old movies. His favorite movie was "Sparkle." He was good at keeping up with family history an updating family information when needed.

Dexter leaves to cherish his loving memory of his life and homegoing: six sisters, Georgia Richards (Donald), Mildred Braswell (Solomon), Sandra Clay (Louis), Theresa Mosely (Nathaniel), Alice Rhodes (Willie), and Theaster Manciel (twin); three brothers, Kenneth France, Charles France (Maxine) and Arthur France (Rita).
