Diane was the oldest child of Ernest Windom, who preceded her in death, and Ozelle Phylis Flounory.   She was blessed to have a younger sister named Darlene Windom, who preceded her in death, and a younger brother named Michael Windom.

Diane loved her family.and did everything she could to help her sons. Her grandchildren were the stars and moon to her and she would have moved the sun for each of them if she could. She was being a Caregiver for her mother and her younger brother when she got sick.

Diane's memory will be cherished by the love of her life and husband, Marvin Ernest Moreland; sons, Marvin Ernest Windom III and Michael David Moreland; Daughter-in-law, Stephanie Monique Moreland; Grandchildren, Levale, Kevale, Dejanelle Marie, Paige N'Kai, Jaida N'Rese and Haley Monique; Great-Grandchildren, Kevale Jr., Jewel, and Jameer.
