Family Hour: October 29, 2013 12:30 p.m. Funeral immediatly following at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Stinson Funeral Home 16540 Meyers @ the Lodge Fwy.

Donald James Jones was born September 27, 1958 to the union of Robert and Barbara Jones in Detroit, Michigan. Robert Jones (father) preceded him in death. Donald confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Donald graduated from Pershing High School. He completed his Journeyman in 1998 and was mentored by Kenneth Coleman at the Traditional Housing Detroit Rescue Mission Ministeries.
Donald loved riding his bike and playing basketball. The younger men he played basketball with him nicknamed him Old School. I was told Old School could hoop.
Donald leaves to mourn; his four children, James (3J) Gabrielle (Gabby), Daniel and Steven; his mother Barbara Jones, brothers; Robert Jones, Jr., Lafalle Jones, and Ramone Jones, sisters; Sandra Green, Benita Starkey (Lewis), Cheryl Jones and Taya Hill (Del) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him.
