Duane Raymond Jackson was born September 24, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to father Willie Jackson who preceded him in death and mother O'Dell Jackson.

He attended Detroit Public Schools graduating from Mumford High School. Duane was always a happy person enjoying children and animals.

He was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age.

Duane departed this life on January 5, 2016 leaving to mourn :m his mother O'Dell Jackson; one dear friend, Sandra Shellman; two daughters
,Dawnitta Evans "Tiki" and Duana Frazier; six grandchildren, Mario Frazier, Sr., Kyndel Justice, Keir Allen, Kamora Allen, Donovan Evans and Danyel Evans; two great-grandchildren, Mario Frazier, Jr. and Kooper Jacobson; two aunts, Jackie and Evelyn, and many cousins and dear friends.
