Funeral services for the late Elanor Louise Ridley will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the Stinson Funeral Home located at 16540 Meyers at the John Lodge Fwy.
Elanor Louise ridley was born January 20, 1929 in Pennsylvania to Malinda Billingslea and John Giddings (who preceded her in death).
She attended Unity Church occasionally. Throughtout the years she enjoyed rug hooking, going to movies with her daughter and also dancing and cooking.
Elanor was employed by and retired from the City of Detroit as a City Clerk for 30 years. Elanor lived he life to the fullest by traveling and enjoying fun times with family and friends.
Elanor's smile shined as bright as the life she lived and while she enjoyed having a good time, her colorful ways of expressing herself will continue to guide us.
Elanor made her transition on April 10, 1012 at 7:27 p.m. at home in Waldord, MD. She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Michael Ridley and her daughter, Capri Nickelson, Linay Franklin and Kai Nickelson. She also leaves to cherish in her memories: four great-grandchildren: Tajah Franklin, Lacey Foreman, Ashala Pettway and paul Pettway and one niece, Debra and a host of friends.
