Ella Michelle McGruder (Shell), age 43, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2016. Ella was born on October 8, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan to Bessie Moore and Edward McGruder. she accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at the Home of Love in Detroit, Michigan. Ella was educated through the Detroit Public School System.

Ella was a devoted mother, sister , aunt and friend. She worked various jobs throughout her life, but her biggest assignment was loving her family. Not only was she adored and cherished by her daughter (Lashell), she was one of the best aunts to her nieces and nephews, who lovingly called her "Tee Tee."

Ella loved to cook and entertain her family. She enjoyed joking around, laughing, listening to music and watching scary movies. She was always willing to help others. If she loved you, there was never a question...... "you knew it".

Ella is preceded in death by her parents Bessie Moore and Edward McGruder; brothers-Terry Dean and Ronald Moore.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Lashell McGruder; sisters- Marian McGruder, Charrise Dubiel, and Linda Pearson (Reggie)- brothers Terry Moore (Darlene) and Carl Moore (Sharon).; 15 nieces and nephews-Phillip, Felicia, Duran, Sierra, John, Christopher, Tenniqua, Tiffani, Jasmine, Asia, Carl Jr., Colby, Bobbie, Joshua and Eric Jr.; 1 great aunt-Lucy Williams' 3 aunts-Deborah, Tracy and Vanessa; 25 great nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
