Memorial Service: Friday October 23, 2015 1:00 p.m. Stinson Funeral Home 16540 Meyers at the John Lodge Fwy.
Ernest "Billy" Brown was born to Karo and Sidellia Brown on January 30, 1941 in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Of this union, Ernest was on of 15 children.
Ernest was introduced to Christ at a very early age. He moved to Detroit in 1956 with his parents and other siblings.
He worked in construction up until his retirement at which time he moved into a senior citizen community.
Ernest loved gathering with his frienjds and neighbors weekly to play bingo.
The love of his life was his dog KIA.
Ernest made his transition on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Preceding him in death were his parents Sidellia and KAro Brown; one sister, Mary Ann; seven brothers, Jimmy Lee, Jim Teddy, Willie Floyd, Karo, Jr., Bobby Joe, Johnny B and Arnett.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his brother Edward Brown; his sisters, Ophelia, Juanita, Elvira, Bernice and Mary Lois; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Billy we all will miss you, your James Brown dance and all the funny advice you so willingly gave.
