On July 11, 2021 our beloved Georgia Mae gained her angel wings and was reunited with her husband Claude Will Warren (1971); sisters and brothers, Louisa, D.C, and Essie Mae; grandsons, Talmus Claude Warren (1982) and Roshawn Leonard Knight (2021).

Georgia was born to George and Cornelia Harry in Sandy Hook, Mississippi. On January 19, 1948, Claude Will Warren and Georgia Mae Harry were joined in marriage in Marion County Mississippi.

Georgia Mae was a master gardener, fantastic cook, and loving caregiver. She found immense joy spending time in her garden, growing the most beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables in the neighborhood. She continued to care for them until she was no longer able. She was well known for delectable foods, in particular her sweet potato pies and fried chicken made in her home kitchen or the church kitchen. If Georgia Mae was cooking, no one ever left hungry! Georgia Mae cherished her time with her family and close friends. Her door was always open to anyone!

Georgia Mae is survived by her sons, Talmus Warren and Kenneth Warren; her daughters, Stephaine (Knight) Walker and Sarah Jones and husband Mark Jones; her grandchildren, Yolanda Jack, Tiffany Knight, Kyle Warren, Kia Johnson, Kenneth Warren Jr, Mitchell Jones and Shannon Jones; Nine (9) Great-Grandchildren and one (1) Great-great Grandchild.

She leaves behind her sister, Maxie Washington; brothers, Tommie Alexander and wife Letha Pearl, Johnny Alexander and wife Marion; as well a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and special friends across the country
