Memorial Service held Thursday, December 27, 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stinson Funeral Home 16540 Meyers at the John Lodge Fwy
The Life of Hargie "Uncle Tommy" Thompson
Mr. Hargie Thompson, was born on May 26, 1933 to Jake and Rhonda Thompson in Cadiz, Kentucky. He was the youngest of ten children.
Hargie, well known as Uncle Tommy or Tommy by his fiends, proceeded on in life and moved to Detroit, Michigan where he worked for Ford Motor Company for 47 years. He retired from Fords in 2008 prior to becoming ill.
Uncle Tommy was a serious sports fan. Baseball, Basketball and football he loved the all. He also enjoyed spending time at the casinos and the race track, watching the ponys.
Uncle Tommy completed his journey here on earth Friday, December 21, 2012.
Uncle Tommy is survived by one sister-in-law, Emma Thompson; one nephew Keith Thompson, one niece: Rhodia Gill (Anthony); great nephews & nieces, Nephateria, Valencia, Craig, Keith II, Nicole and Kaila and a host of other loving family and friends.
Uncle Tommy you will surely be missed.
