Viewing Wednesday from 1:OOPM until 8:OOPM at the Stinson Northwest Chapel located at 16540 Meyers Road at the John Lodge Fwy. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 11:OOAM at the Funeral Home. Family is 10:30AM.
Interment: Detroit Memorial Park-West
Jesse Austin, Jr. was born on April 24, 1934 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the union of Mary Lee Steel and Jesse Austin, Sr.
At 17 years old he entered the Korean Conflict and later went to G.I. School.
Jesse loved his blues and cars.
He later married Mary Dixon and to this union the had four children, Anthony, (preceded him in death), Barbara, Jesse III and Michael. His wife Mary prededed him in death,
He leaves to mourn, his children, Barbara (Leo) Banks, Jesse Austin III, Michael (Malik Austin)l seven sisters, Pearlie (Ernest) Lewis, Jr., Dorothy Naylon, Barbara (Hoza) Orange, Maion long, Mary Ann Timore, Johnnie Mae German, Dixie) and Patricia (Edward)Beale; two brothers, Roberts, Robert Austin (Jeanette) and John German,Jr.; four grandchildren, Starletta Banks, Damond Banksm Mary Banks and Hermania Austin; eight-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces cousins and friends.
