Obituary
Viewing Friday January 18, 2013 from 1PM until 8PM from the Stinson Northwest Chapel located 16540 Meyers Road at the John Lodge Fwy. Funeral Services will be Held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Saturday at 11AM. Family Hour is Friday Night in the Funeral Home from 6PM until 7PM. Final Disposition of the Remains is Cremation.
John Lee Green was born November 21, 1920, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Edward and Viola Green. John was the third of five children born to that union. Three of his siblings preceded him in death.
John attended the Detroit Public Schools. He graduated from Cass Technical High School. After graduating, John enlisted in the Armed Forces on the 6th day of January 1943. He received and honorable Discharge.
John retired fro the Chrysler Corporation after many years of dedicated service.
John leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Denise Mason; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Mattison; five nieces; four nephews; eleven great-nieces; eight great-nephews; thirty great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
