Juanita and Curtis Richardson were joined in holy matrimony on September 9, 1968.

Juanita attended Rust College and Wayne State University. She retired from the Department of Social Services after 37 years of employment with the State of Michigan.

She joined St. Paul United Methodist Church in Detroit, Michigan where she served in various positions, including Sunday School Teacher and Youth coordinator.

Juanita departed this life on May 27, 2020 preceded by her parents, husband, brother, a sister and one grandchild. She leaves to cherish her memory, a younger sister, 2 loving daughters, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
