Kenneth James White was born December 29,1939 in Detroit, Michigan from the union of Charles and Lela "Sane" White. Kenneth was the oldest of four children. Under the influence of his mother, he accepted Christ at an early age. Both of his parents, two siblings; Reggie White and Marcia Taylor Ellis and one daughter, Gerele "Twitty" White preceded him in death.

Kenneth attended Southwestern High Schoool and dropped out before finishing the twelfth year.He revealed in his freedom until joining the US Army in 1960. Kenneth was able to complete his high school requirements in service. While in the Army, he served as rifleman until attending the Adjutant General School in 1962.

Kenneth served two tours in Germany and one tour each in Korea and Vietnam. His decorations include, The Army Commendation Medal, The Vietnamese Service Medal and The Good Conduct Medal. After seventeen years of active service duty in the US Army he was discharged.

Kenneth continuing educational credits included attending the University of California Southern and Henry Ford Community College. He embarked on several careers; one notable honor was AAA of Michigan, as one of the first African American Property and Casualty Clain Adjuster. Later, Kenneth put on another uniform after being hired by the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier.

While working at the Seven Oak Post Office in 1981, Kenneth met Katrina Montgomery. From this relationship and as time moved on Kenneth began to introduce Katrina to his families, lodge brothers, eastern stars, business and social aquaints and very special friend and God sent brother, Willie Kendall,Jr.,one of the orignal "Four D's". Over time, Kenneth and Katrina became to each other friends, lovers and significant others. In 1992, Kenneth retired from the United States Postal Service.

On Sweetest Day in October 2008, Kenneth and Katrina were married. On that same day, Kenneth received the Appointment as Brother of the Year by Peter Salem Lodge #40.

Kenneth also has honors from the Grand Lodge , as Special Deputy Grand Master.

When Kenneth's health began to decline, his wife and caregiver stayed by his beside to serve him until the end of his life. Kenneth will always be remembered by those he served and helped in need.

Kenneth departed this life at Sunrise on Sunday, July 27,2014. He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife, Katrina Richardson-White; aunt, Mrs. Orangelo Roberts; sister, Mrs. Ann Ramsey; two brothers, Adrain "Pumkin" White and Myron (Lisa) Taylor; Children Shelia Glenn, Leslie Renee (Jeffrey) Harris, Kenneth (Christine) White,Jr. Crystal (Tyrone) Washington and Adam White, also father to Antonio Strickland, Stanley Lamar Smith, Dominque Motgomery and Sean Motgomery; sixteen(16) grandchildren, four(4) great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
