Obituary
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday March 26, 2013 at 11AM in the Chapel of the Stinson Northwest Chapel Located 16540 Meyers Road at the John Lodge Freeway. Visitation is from 10AM until 11AM. Final Disposition of the Remain is Cremation.
Mark Anthony Peavy was born February 16, 1963 to the union of Solomon and Nancy Peavy of Rockford, Illinois.
Mark confessed his life to Christ at a early age and was a devoted member of St. Frances De Sales/St Peter Claver Catholic Community.
He was educated in the Detroit Public School system, graduating from Cooley High in 1972.
While attending Cooley High he was active in the JR. R.O.T.C. program and had a passion for playing the drums.
As an adult Mark was a very humble and quiet person, but when it came to his family he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Even when he wasn't able.
In his leisure Mark enjoyed listening to all types of music.
On March 18, 2013 the Gates of Heaven welcomed Mark to his new home. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted family and many close friends.
