McArthur Jackson Jr. was born July 23,1940 in Hartford Connecticut to the union of McArthur Jackson Sr. and Gladys Porter-Jackson. He was the eldest of three children his parents and one son Marcel Jackson preceded him in death. At an early age McArthur accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and was baptized at Phillip Metropolitan Methodist Church in Hartford,shortly after completeing high school he made a vow to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on October 31,1958 until his honorably discharge on November 0,1962. After returning to the United States he returned to school and received cetrification as a radio technician, machinist and ertificate in photography. Moving to Detroit, Michigan McArthur also known to many as "Frenchie" met and married Carolyn J Warrior on January 30,1968, from this union four children was born. He was employed with General Motors Corporation as a machine repairman until his health begin ro decline. With the experience of being in the armed force Frechy had many stories to share with family and friends. Frenchy was a mild spirited and gentle man, yet at times he enjoyed tellin jokes. His past time passion was shooting pool, playing chess developing photo's in his dark room title "Frenchy Lab". To enjoy the night hours he was a Motown Man listening and recording hundreds of songs going back to the 60's. He mastered the Reel to Reel Tape Recorder so he could listen to Music Non Stop for hours and hours. He truly loved the Motown sounds.

Two Great Nephews Geoge and Robert of (Las Vegas,NV) Fourteen grandchildren, Four Great grandchildren ad his best friend Carolyn for many years and a host of cousins and a mulitude of relatives and friends
