Norman Oliver, Jr ws born in Detroit Michigan to Melrose and Norman Oliver, Sr.

Norman was affectionately known as "40" to all that knew him.

Norman attended the Detroit Public School system and later acquired his GED.

Norman loved sports , including baseball, basketball, football and especially bowling. Norman would always fill in the spot as catcher when the neighborhood softball team (The Posse) was short.

Norman (40) had a outgoing personality and enjoyed having a good time. He always greeted you with a smile.

Norman worked for Domino's Pizza and the Department of Transportation.

After battling a long illness, Norman peacefully departed this life on December  13, 2018. Even at the very end Norman never lost faith nor did he let his circumstances get him down.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother; Melrose Oliver, his two children Norman (QuanShaNay) and Andranna Jane' Humphries, two grandchildren: X'Zavior DeShawn Norman Oliver and Troy Lofton, Jr. all of Detroit, MI.  Two brothers: Vaughn D. Oliver (Sharon) of Detroit, MI and Gregory Oliver (Tiffany) of Redford, MI, one uncle; Raymond Oliver of Southfield, MI. One aunt; Debra Fears (Cornell), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
