Otis Eugene Davis was born in Inkster, Michigan May 8, 1946 to late Teveren Lonzo Davis and Annie Laura Davis. Otis graduated from Chadsey High School and went to study at Wayne County Community College where he earned his Associates degree.
Otis met and married his childhood sweetheart Delores Williams at a young age. An Inseparable relationship that lasted for over 42 years. Otis was an avid business owner who owned his own gas station at the young age of 21 years, and went on to work for the Wonder Bread Corporation where he served as a Sales Supervisor faithfully until a physical disability caused him to come off the job in 1976.
Otis joined the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church under Reverend Johnnie E. Jordan. Otis and "DeeDee" as she affectionately known, they loved their Pastor. When Rev. Jordan was called to Greater Mount Olive they moved too. He served as Deacon Davis under his Pastor's leadership. They served there for many years until their death.
Otis was a loving and devoted husband and father who took care of his family and provided well for them. He enjoyed the good things in life. He provided the best for his family. He was a member of the Prince Hall lodge #24 where he became a 33rd degree Mason.
Otis was loved in life and will be missed in death. He was preceded in death ny his loving wife Delores Davis. Otis had a total of 2 brothers who preceded him in death Reverend Richard Davis (Bonnie Jean), and James Davis. Three sisters, Ernestine Ash, Margie Davis, and Delohine Wilson. Two children, Lisa Kellem (James Kellem) and Otis Eugene Davis, Five grandchildren, Laura Sha'ron Davis, Otis Eugene Davis III, Amber Elise Davis, DeVante Damon and Antonio Joshua Cleveland. Five great grandchildren, Trinity, Journey, Khloe, Maliyah and Khaleb. A host cousins, nieces,nephews, and friends.
