Paulette Vonner entered this world on May 4, 1936 in Algood, Tennessee. She was the youngest child of Gertrude and Charlie Hardy. Both her parents and all of her siblings preceded her in death.
Paulette embraced Christ at a early age becoming a member of St. Luke Methodist Church where she remained an active member until her demise.

Paulrtte worked at Shuman's Market as a teenager later becoming bookkeeper. She retired in 1985 due to illness but continued doing what she loved to do most, which was helping the homeless, elderly and those that were ill. She would go into her old neighborhood to feed the homeless, offer advice as well as inspirational verses from the Bible.

In 1999, she moved to Canton, Mississippi where she remained until 2009 with the untimely death of her son Todd and her daughter Carla. One of Paulette's greatest attributes was her nurturing and humbling demeanor. She could beffriend anyone she met.

Paulette was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her wisdom was cherished and will be missed. She was a very intelligent woman whose passions were, but not limited to music and history. She was expecially proud of Grandfather Carusoe Buck who was a very important man in her native Algood.

Paulette made her transition on March 12, 2012. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Michelle Phillips of Hamtramck, Michigan; a son Darryl Love of Detroit, Michigan; three neohews, Amos Hamlin (Rene) of Canton, Mississippi, Patrick Hamlin (Lyneora) of Latta, South Carolina and WIlliam Findley, Jr. of Detroit, Michigan; two nieces Larain McDaniel (Lazurus) pf Gonzales, Louisiana and Cheryl Findley of Chicago, Illinois. 10 grandchildren, David Phillips, Rita Phillips, Claudia Sy, Bridget Snyder, Krystal Love, Chantall Love, Khadijah Craft, Asim Craft, Patrice Vonner and Todd Vonner, Jr. 11 great-grandchildren and a host of great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
