Rebecca Elizabeth Davis-Sabbath was the seconf child born in
emphis, ennessee, to Ardelia ans Hermanh Davis.
At an early age, she confessed a love in Christ and was baptised at Union Grove Baptist Church in Memphis. She attended a public school in Memphis until the family moved to River Rouge, MI in 1957, where she attended River Rough High School until she graduated in 1960. In that time, she became a member of First Baptist Church of Ecorse, and she became the mother of three children.
Over the years, she obtainedan Associated Degree in Science from Wayne County Community College of Business.
She was active Sunday School Teacher, resident of Inspirational Choir, and Adult Teacher of the Baptist Training Union at Forst Baptist Church of Ecorse. Rebecca loved God, her family and her church. She also enjoyed singing with the Mass Choir, attending Bible Study and teaching the Junior Class. Her favorite Bible passages include the entire Psalms 1, Psalms 23, and II Chronicles 7:14.
Rebecca was survived by her mother Ardelia and step-father Arthur Kyner of Detroit, MI her children Lisa (Excell) of River Rouge, Mi; Karen and George (Detroit)' her sister Gay of Faarmington Hills, MI, and brothers Jessie (Jackie) and Charles (Tammy) of Allen Park, MI; four grandsons and three granddaughters, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
