Viewing Friday, November 11, 2011 from 1PM until 8PM at the Stinson Southwest Chapel located at 1939 Fort Street. Detroit Michigan 48217. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Stinson Funeral Home located at 1939 Fort Street Detroit, MI 48217 at 1:00PM. Interment will be Meadowcrest
Shirley A. Wise was born July 23, 1950. Shirley grew up in a large family of nine children. She attended the Detroit Public Schools and worked at tht Chrysler Corporation and Great Lakes Steel. She was also a housewife and mother of three adopted children, Terrell, James and Miranda Wise.
She's preceded by both parents, Lillie Weddington and Charles Wise; husband, George Pace, sisters, Beverly Collins and Patricia Wise and a special friend, Ralph Milan.
Left to mourn her passing are her children, siblings,, Gloristine (Floyd) Watson, Bobby, Marilyn, Anthony, Carolyn and Pamela Collins; one aunt, Catherine McAfee; several uncles. nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She's very much loved and sorely missed.
Shirley was outspoken, loved having a crowd of people around her. She never met a stranger. She enjoyed giving partied and having holiday gatherings. She also liked decorating her home seasonally.
