Stanley Lee Moore was born on January 23, 1945, to the late Kasnius Shinholster, and Barbara Turner. He adored and deeply loved his step father the late Bishop Henry Mack. He departed this life on Monday, Januray 16, 2012, at Grace Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Stanley attended Condon Elementary School and graduated from Western High School. He also, studied Mortuary Science at Wayne State University. Stanley served in the Military Vietnam War from 1969 to 1970, with an honorable discharge.
In 1965, Stanley married Narvie Ann Mimms, and to this union Kimberly and Richard Moore were born. In 1970, he married Shirley Thompson, and one child was born from this union, Nicole Moore. On June 14, 1992, Stanley united in marriage to Grace Gannaway, married for 19 years before he departed this life.
Stanley had an outstanding career. He worked for Ford Motor Company in the mid 1960's and worked for General Motors Hydromantic Power Train Corporation for 25 years in Ypsilanti, Michigan where he retired from in 2004.
Stanley enjoyed roller skating, boxing entertainments, the movie theaters and being in the company of the Turner family. Stanley had a caring and loving heart, although he was a straight and forward person who spoke candidly from the heart what was on his mind.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving devoted, wife Grace; three children, Kimberly (Pastor Calvin McDaniels), Richard Moore, and Nicole Shannon; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Tia, Nayla, Kaden, Angelina, Denarius, Richard and John; two brothers, Henry and William; one brother Harry Moore preceded him in death; one sister Pansy; six sisters-in-laws; four brothers-in-laws; special friends Preston and Kim Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
