Obituary

WILLIE LEE STOTT was born on January 23, 1951 in Evergreen, Alabama to Ethel and Willie Stott, Sr. Later the family moved to Detroit where he lived until death.

He graduated from Pershing High School at the age of 18 where he was active in the ROTC. Later he graduated from Control Data Institute majoring in computer programming.

Willie accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 12 at Joseph Campau Church of Christ, where he was an active member of the Youth Group and sung in the Youth Choir. He and his brothers attended several Youth Conferences all over the United States.

Willie had a passion for photography he loved taking pictures of family and scenery. He was always looking for the latest gadgets and more precise lens for his camera. He had a drarkroom where he would develope his own pictures. WIllie also enjoyed spending time with Diversified Gents where family and friends gathered together planning social events.

His working career consisted of office assistant in his high school later a mechanic at Pepsi Cola and the Coca Cola Bottling Company.

Willie was a giving person no matter who needed help he was always there. He looked pass a person's faults and looked at the good in everyone. He loved family and expecially his mother Ethel Lee Stott.

Willie departed from this life on the morning of December 15, 2014 he leaves to live on his legacy his fathe Willie Lee Stott, Sr, sister Joe Ann Pugh, brother Darrell Anthony, Aunts, Uncles and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his mother Ethel Lee Stott, brothers Charles and James, and sister Edweina.
